From Fortaleza to Canoa
Quebrada and back
The São Benedito bus company has
several daily direct buses from the central Fortaleza bus station (Rodoviária).
See timetable below.
During high season it is recommended to buy your tickets in advance.
In
Canoa Quebrada, the bus stop is located in front of the entertainment
centre, at the beginning of “Broadway” street (Main Street).
From Fortaleza to Aracati and back
Viação Nordeste e Guanabara: these two bus companies don’t go up to Canoa Quebrada but stop in Aracati. From there, there
are 15 km to get to Canoa Quebrada.
Catch a taxi from the bus station
or, cheaper, a van departing every 20 minutes from opposite the Matriz
Church. The bus station and the Matriz are a little distant from each
other; if you don’t have heavy luggage, you’ll find moto-taxi
to drive you there.

Fortaleza Airport
The Pinto Martins International
Airport of Fortaleza is located at about 10 km from the centre of the city
and 166 kilometers of Canoa Quebrada. It receives daily flights from several
domestic and International capitals.

of Ceará has started to expand and modernize the Aracati/Canoa
