Fortaleza Airport
The Pinto Martins International Airport of Fortaleza is
located at about 10 km from the centre of the city and 166 kilometers
of Canoa Quebrada. It receives daily flights from several domestic
and International capitals. Companies serving the Fortaleza airport:
GOL, TAM, Ocean Air, Webjet, CTACV (Transportes Aéreos Cabo
Verde), TAP (Europe), Delta Airlines (Atlanta-USA), Livingston (Rome
and Milan Italy), Air Italy.
The airport was opened in 1998; it is fully air conditioned and
divided into four floors. Its annual traffic reaches about 2.5 million
passengers.
Fortaleza has Air Taxi services that propose helicopter flights
and private jet flights to the Aracati/Canoa Quebrada airport, at
just 10 minutes drive from Fortim.

The State of Ceará has started to expand and modernize the Aracati/Canoa
Quebrada airport, at only 15 km from Fortim. 600 meters
will be added to the runway in order to receive international flights.
