THE POUSADA
The Canteiros Pousada & Restaurant lies just in front of the bus terminal (rodoviária) in the centre of Aracati. The location is ideal to spend a few days visiting this nice colonial town (see Aracati page) close to Canoa Quebrada and other beaches of the region.
You’ll be received in an eficient and quick way and the acomodation is comfortable with afordable prices.
The pousada has two types of rooms:
- Standard with fan and TV
- Complete with air conditioning (Split), TV and fridge

THE RESTAURANT
The Canteiros has a restaurant with a menu proposing typical dishes of the North-Eastern region of Brazil:
- Assado de Panela (roasted meat)
- Bife Acebolado (sauteed beaf with onions)
- Buchada (typical South Eastern dish)
- Carneiro (mutton)
- Carne Suina (Pork Meat)
- Carne do Sol (sauteed salted and sun dried beef meat)
- Cozido de Gado (Beef stew)
- Frango ao Molho (Chicken in Sauce)
- Peixe Frito (Fried Fish)
And as well: varied beverages, breakfast service and desserts.
